Dear Parents and Carers,
The end of a very busy week in school approaches and I have been delighted with the student learning I have seen taking place in the lessons I have visited this week. It’s also been lovely to hear the positive feedback from parents of those who went on the Ski Trip over half term, and your thanks for staff are much appreciated and valued.
I want to say thank you to all the parents and carers who have responded to the uniform survey already, it is so useful to have parents’ views and the responses are so considered and insightful that they are a rich resource for us as we seek to move forward. The survey remains open for views until Friday 4th March at 10am and can be found here:
In other news we hope to begin building work on the new Science lab and classroom on the 7th March, and after Easter we begin the process of upgrading the heating systems in West Wing – all improvements aimed at making the learning space for students and staff as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
To keep you updated, our focus for all students at the moment is ensuring they get specific feedback on how to improve in every subject, and our assemblies next week are focusing on politeness and kindness – key for us all!
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend,
