Sussex Police Bike Security Event
There will be a free bicycle security marking event run by Sussex Police outside Hove Town Hall this Thursday afternoon! The event will be a great opportunity for students and staff to make their bikes easier to identify, should they be stolen. A UV marking of an ID name, code, digits, house number or postcode etc. will be applied to the frame of your bike. This UV marking will then be protected, making it difficult to remove.
The event will be taking place outside Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 4AH on the 15th March. Students are free to attend between 3pm and 5pm.
No appointment is necessary – just turn up with your bike and Sussex Police will apply the security marking free of charge.
A representative from Brighton & Hove City Council will also be present who will provide safety advice, along with supplying hi-vis accessories and bike maps etc.
