Blatchington Mill School is seeking to recruit to this important role in this successful and popular school. The First Aid Team is a vital element in the caring environment that we maintain at our school, they play an instrumental part in embedding a strong culture of health and safety.

The First Aid Assistant would be supporting the First Aid Lead in performing and planning first aid as required across our large site and helping to work with outside agencies who work with our students.

We are looking for an individual who is calm and a good communicator, able to put others at ease. You would ideally have some experience in a school or similar environment and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the basic principles of first aid and health and safety. Some administrative work will also be required and so a good level of literacy is needed.

Induction and training would be provided and we encourage ongoing professional development.
