The Millstones is the school big band and has been in existance for over 20 years. The band is open to students from Year 8 to Year 13. The band have recently performed as part of the Brighton Festival, for the Head Teachers Annual Conference at the Metropole Hotel and are touring Germany in October 2008. This percussion ensemble is open to all students from Year 7 to Year 13. Students learn how to play Latin American percussion instruments and work towards performances in the Brighton Childrens' Parade and Burning of the Clocks Parade. Samba Sensational performed at Disneyland Paris in July 2007 and further tours are planned. For more details contact Mrs J Fry, Director of Music.
