"Sing Up" CPD and Vocational Training

Blatchington Mill is working in partnership with the Sing Up initiative, a nationwide project which promotes singing in schools by providing twilight CPD sessions from teachers of local primary schools. Cicely led a training session on 11th March alongside Debby Tyndall, SE Co-ordinator for the "Sing Up" initiative.

We are also hoping to offer Gifted and Talented singers from Blatch the opportunity to become Singing Leaders in local primary schools, with training, shadow placements and work placements offered by the Sing Up initiative.

If students are interested in studying an additional Performing-Arts subject (Music, Drama or Dance) they can do so through our extended day programme, as an evening class. If students opt for this, they will be expected to attend all extended day lessons which will run every Monday that the school is in session. Read More
