Samba Drumming

Come and join the ‘Bloco Blatch’ Samba Band! Learn funky traditional modern rhythms such as samba, hip hop, samba-funk, and more! Open to complete beginners as well as experienced drummers, work with Latin Percussionist Ollie Tunmer, whose career as a drummer and percussionist has involved performing and teaching across the globe with a wide variety of ensembles including STOMP, Carnival Collective and 2002 Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro. Participants will develop a piece to perform at the Burning of the Clocks Parade in December, Children’s Parade in May and Brighton Dome in June.

Open to any young person aged 8 years and above
Cost: First session FREE! £2.00 per session or £25.00 per term
