Blatchington Mill School and Sixth Form College

Arabella Arnett-Morrice of Year10 and Abi Whiffin from Year8 both attend A2Arts dance school and represented England at The Dance World Cup, in Austria.

They won gold medals for two of their group dances and Arabella also won a silver medal for a modern quartet. They also won awards for the Best Hip Hop Group, Best Modern Dance Group and Best Dance Group in all categories.

Team England came second overall, beaten narrowly by Team Germany.

Thirty-two countries across the world took part including dancers from the Ukraine, Malaysia, Canada, Russia, Austria, Jersey and Germany.

Abi and Arabella helped raise the money for the team to take part – the group raised over £10,000 in total.
