School Information
The RIC
What is the RIC?
The Research and Information Centre (RIC) is a large open-plan space which combines library and IT facilities to support teaching and learning across the school curriculum. A separate area is provided for sixth form students.
Flat-screen computers provide a range of software applications and Internet access. The RIC library houses over 10,000 reference books, more than 5,000 fiction volumes and a range of newspapers, journals and magazines.
The RIC is located on the mezzanine floor above the East Wing hall. It is open from 8.00 am - 4.00pm and there is open access for students before school, during morning break, lunchtime and after school.
Staff are available in the RIC throughout the day to assist with enquiries
and provide information. We aim to provide a well-resourced and welcoming environment in which students and staff can work or read for pleasure.
