School Information
Headteacher's Welcome
Thank you for taking the trouble to find out more about Blatchington Mill School and Sixth Form College. Government inspectors have found ‘The Mill’ to be a “very good school”.
Like all good schools we aim to provide the very best for our students. Consequently, they are encouraged to develop lively, enquiring and independent minds as members of a community which values each and every individual.
We are proud that the school is known as a caring and supportive environment which caters for all students, irrespective of their background, ability or culture. A great deal is expected of our students in terms of work, behaviour and dress. It is our belief that children respond best to clear guidelines and enjoy the challenges of meeting understood and agreed targets.
These web pages have been produced to give you an insight into the school and, in particular, an outline of our objectives and the ways in which we achieve them. However, the best way to make up your mind about any school is to see it at work for yourself and talk to students and staff.
You are warmly invited to pay us a visit. The students, staff and I look forward to welcoming you.
