FAB presents Blatch with new minibus!
Blatchington Mill School has finally taken delivery of a 17 seater Ford Transit minibus to replace existing old stock. The fundraising campaign by 'Friends At Blatch' (FAB) was kicked off 18 months ago with a grand Auction and has seen the coffers fill by holding quiz evenings, golf events and raffles. The School is extremely grateful to FAB and particularly to the parents who turn out to support such events.
What is Friends at Blatch?
All parents and carers are automatically members of Friends at Blatch.
However, you can be part of the school community and meet other enthusiastic parents by becoming an active member of Friends at Blatchington Mill School (FAB).
What FAB does:
Act as a sounding board regarding school procedures and future developments. Members of the school management committee use the comments and suggestions received as an important part of the school’s self-evaluation procedure.
Raise funds for the school (This comes under the umbrella of the Parent and Teachers’ Association (PTA) which is a registered charity).
All it takes is an hour of your time every now and again (meetings are held every half-term) to make a difference to the quality of the educational experience for students.
