Blatchington Mill School & Sixth Form College require an Exams Officer to lead the Exams Team in the provision of an efficient and effective service at this large secondary school and sixth form college.

Ideally, you will have some experience in exams and be able to use your initiative and work well with a team. You must have knowledge of our statutory responsibilities or else be able to indicate capacity to research and learn such regulated procedures. You will have good communication skills and will be well organised with the ability to remain calm under pressure and when working to tight deadlines. In return you will be supported with induction and training and will join a motivated and committed team within this friendly organisation.

The contracted hours are 30 per week with an expectation of flexibility so that up to 37 hour weeks may be worked during the exam season, being balanced by fewer hours in quieter times. In addition to term time working the exams officer will need to be in school for the two exam days on consecutive weeks in August and the preparation for these important events.
