Windmill Theatre

The Windmill Theatre is the city's newest theatre, located in the grounds of Blatchington Mill School and Sixth Form College. With its Performing Arts College status, funds have been made available from local sponsors and the DfEE to create a theatre space for the school and its community.

Over £200,000 has been spent on converting an existing school space to provide state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, tiered Bleacher seating, raised and enclosed Control Room, facilities for the disabled (including ramps, toilet, Induction Loop), backstage facilities (including intercom to Control Room and dressing rooms) and much more. There is audience seating for up to 300 (100 on the Bleachers and 200 on the floor area).

The foyer creates a welcoming ambience on arrival at the theatre, with Front of House facilities available. Parking in the designated car parks is ample and free.
