Upper Sixth Tea Party
Our upper sixth students wanted to celebrate leaving college with a formal afternoon tea. During May, the upper sixth year group gathered with their teachers in the common room. Dressed in their summer finery, they partook of sandwiches and cakes with entertainment provided by the heads of music and drama and assorted students. An excellent afternoon was enjoyed by all.

Strictly Come Dancing
Following the success of the BBC series, Blatch6 performing arts students decided to produce their own event, involving staff and senior students. After several weeks of intensive training (for some!), a sell out evening performance was held where a variety of dances were shown to a delighted audience. . The winning performance was Jason King and Claire Steinicke with their pasa doblė but rapturous applause was received by all the participants.
Fashion Show
In aid of Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Fashion was born 3 years ago when Becky Nice suggested that we celebrate the end of five years compulsory education with a fashion show. It was such a great success from the first year that it has continued ever since. And now it is a ‘must have’ in the school diary.
