Music Theatre National BTEC AwardExam Board EdexcelCourse ContentThis course is ideal if students enjoy performing, and want to develop their skills further. The BTEC National Award is a practical, work-related course where students will be expected to rehearse and perform both in lessons and beyond. Students will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace activities. This is equivalent to one A level which means that when students have finished the course they can use it to go into higher education or into employment. The two year course is made up of five units:
Students will be expected to perform in the upper school musical and other performance opportunities in school and in the wider community including the Brighton festival.
